In 1978 after three years of renovation by Frank Lennon the derelict 19th century house called Deanhurst House was opened as the Four in one pub. It had four floors offering a ground floor main bar lounge with a split level floor, 35 seater restaurant, varied entertainment and overnight accommodation. Incorporated into the main entrance leading to the lounge were two pieces of coloured glass rescued from the skylight of the original building. When the property was aquired by Mr Lennon part of the roof was missing, there were no doors and many windows were smashed.
